Eric Westbrook is a professional illustrator
and painter who lives and works in Washington, DC. Westbrook's
illustrations are acrylic on canvas with a textural brushstroke
technique ideally suited to conceptual, informative, and thought-provoking
commissioned assignments. These works are regularly included
in juried shows of the Illustrators Club. Westbrook's paintings
are also acrylic on canvas and explore the figure, landscape,
and portrait, with an emphasis on concept and composition.
The images range in style from surrealism to a symbolic realism,
incorporating in the canvas his own personal experiences,
as well as his interest in human physiology and psychology.
