Career Resources

Whether you are starting your career or looking for a new professional path, Marymount and the Alumni Association offer several resources to assist you.

Career & Internship Center
CIC upcoming events page

From time to time, the Career and Internship Center sponsors career events and workshops that may be of interest to alumni. They also serve as a repository of information on career events in the Washington, DC area.

Marymount University offers career services and programs to alumni.
Please contact Ralph Critten or Ms. Suzanne Harvey for both undergraduate or graduate services.

Career Networking
Did you know that nearly half of all job seekers find jobs through referrals and word of mouth? Networking is the key to getting referrals and finding out about jobs. Attending alumni events is a great way to meet other professionals in the area and make new connections.

As an aspiring employee or future manager, you may want to create a professional profile via LinkedIn. You can create a profile free of charge by visiting www.linkedin.com.

Career Assessment
Want to gain insights into your personality, explore your transferable skills, or learn about how to improve your interview style? Consider taking a career assessment for free or a very reasonable fee.

Alumni Career Tool
CIC Web is an online resource that can help you manage your career, access databases of job listings, and post jobs and internships. Try out this alumni benefit today.

Course Audit Program
Learn about a new topic in your field, brush up on a subject, or explore a new area of interest by auditing a course. Marymount University alumni may audit two courses per semester, provided the enrollment limit for the course has not been reached the final week of registration and approval has been received from the Associate Dean. The fee is $200 per course. Course audits are noted on Marymount transcripts. Get information on how to register, class schedules, and online forms.
